The Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) scheme is launched by our honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi with the vision to train the Indian Youth and compose them skilled for different fields of jobs.
India is the country with the most youth population in the world and youth are indeed the future of the country, they need proper training and skills to become assets for themselves as well as the nation, so the motto of the PMKVY scheme is to achieve the same.
Its flagship scheme for skill training of youth to be implemented by the Ministry of skill development and Entrepreneurship through the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC)
The first advantage of these courses is that they are free of cost and secondly the candidate who is a citizen of India and who consist the age group of 14 – 35 can be part of these courses, totally there are 219 courses in the scheme and they are divided into 34 sectors.
All these 219 courses are related to different industries and verticals, previous there are 577 courses in PMKVY scheme but now it the quality of these courses are decreased and instead of 31 sectors they are divided into 32 sectors.
The most advantage of these 219 courses on 32 sectors is that candidates need not pay a single Pisa for their center
